Hong Kong’s nightlife is exciting and vibrant and has so much to offer over land and sea – from bars to clubs to pubs to evening dinner cruises, Hong Kong really has it all.
The theatrical scene is hugely exciting and boasts fantastic performances from the Hong Kong Ballet as well as the Hong Kong Contemporary Dance Company.
If you’d prefer a party over a play, head over to Lan Kwai Fong in Central – the most famous party place in all of Hong Kong! Attracting a variety of people from skilled local workers, to posh businessmen, to young travellers – it is notorious for it’s lively party-scene.
Additionally, we would definitely recommend a visit to the impressive Ozone bar in Kowloon. Set like a futuristic garden, there are pillars that resemble chocolate fountains, colour-changing refracted glass and if you’re really out to splash the cash, you can even buy its most expensive bottle selling for over HK$150,000! Ozone bar is a definite must-see.
However, if you’re looking to spend a little less money, places in Wan Chai tend to be a slightly cheaper (and some say seedier), and Kowloon generally attracts the locals. Most places offer happy hour deals and cheap drinks so be sure to keep an eye out for these offers!
Hong Kong Island also has a lot to offer, from the ultra-stylish cocktail bar, Sevva, which boasts a truly breathtaking view, to Club 71, where you could enjoy a more bohemian vibe and join in with the music jamming sessions.
If it’s a more intimate experience you’re after, why not head over to the harbour Tapas Bar to take in the incredible harbour views?
Hong Kong’s night life has all of this to offer and so much more – don’t let us just list it for you, experience it all with Just Love Travel.
