Fed up of being an adult? Why not let out your inner child with a trip to Hong Kong’s Disney Land?
This children’s and adult’s play ground opened in September 2005 to become Disney’s fifth ‘Magical Kingdom’ style park. Despite being smallest of all the Disney Land, we would recommend it for its cultural twist on America’s classic version.
Our further recommendations include making sure you catch the daily parade at 3.30pm every day or the nightly fireworks display that take place over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at 8pm.
Additionally, with many locals owning seasonal passes, to avoid long queues, try to go to the park on a weekday and arrive for park opening to enjoy the quieter hours.
Further highlights include the shows – especially the Festival of the Lion King – a condensed theatrical spectacle of the film which is simple mesmerising and definitely worth sacrificing ride time for.
